Greece, Athens, and the Islands

Greece is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating countries in the world, thanks not only to its monuments, and the romantic thought that thousands of years ago it was the birthplace of civilization, but also because of its sea.

Of course, the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about Greece is the Acropolis in Athens. Even though many ancient Greek cities have their own acropolis, the main one in Athen has such a great importance, that is why it is known simply as The Acropolis. Athens is one of the world’s oldest cities, and its origin is set around the 4th millennium BC. Historically and culturally speaking, aside from the capital city, in Greece there are many other relevant cities such as Sparta, Mycenae, Corinth, Cnossus and Heraklion.

Another important peculiarity of the country concerns the several islands which spangle all the area over there. Tourism represents the most important part of the country’s incomes, and it is also due to the beauties of its sea, ranging from dark blue to emerald green, where everybody goes at least once in his/her lifetime.
Even VIP, actors and actresses and politicians go to Greee to escape the stressful everyday life and the paparazzi. This is the perfect country where to relax and ejoy the landscape, the place and the quiet vacation. Have you ever seen the movie “Mamma Mia”? Well, that’s exactly how Greece looks like. A very nice weather, all those houses on the hill, summer dresses almost all the time, sun, sun, sun.
Once you have reached the country there are low-price hotels and room rentals everywhere, and sometimes it is also possible to spend one’s stay with the tent placed on the foreshore, even if this possibility is becoming rarer and rarer.
